HealthXL is a global “matchmaker” that helps young companies partner with large, often multinational strategics in order to more rapidly bring their products to market. In the latest round of matchmaking, held at a recent HealthXL event in Boston, Massachusetts on April 27, 2015, HealthBeacon entered into conversations with the team from the Cleveland Clinic. The result was an agreement between the two companies to work together to help bring HealthBeacon’s smart sharps disposal bin, a device designed to increase adherence with injectable medications, to market in the United States.

Watch the video as Brian explains how HealthXL works with young companies and strategics and, in particular, the elucidates the role the company played in the making of the HealthBeacon-Cleaveland Cinic partnership.
