Bright.md: Software to Streamline the PCP Visit

According to CEO Ray Costantini, MD, MBA, Bright.md‘s software as a service “allows providers to do a more thorough, evidence-based interview and get to better clinical decisions in a much faster time.” By using a virtual process guided by evidence-based algorithms, the software, called SmartExam, collects the relevant patient history and presents it to the physician together with suggested diagnoses and treatment plans. The software also generates the chart note and has automated processes for order entry, billing, and follow up. The doctor spends his or her time on the unique activities that bring value to the interaction.
